Spray Foam

There
is no better home insulating material that can seal you home from air
and moisture intrusion, save on costly utility bills, strengthen your
home, and protect your family's health from dangersous mold, airborne
pollutants, and allergens than Spray Foam Insulation.
Why is Spray Foam Better?
The biggest downfall of
fiberglass insulation is that its Long Term Thermal Rating is
substantially reduced over time. The numbers on a bag of fiberglass
insulation (R-value) are very deceiving. When the bag says R20- it
means that it will provide that rating if it is installed perfectly,
without any air movement or gaps. The Long Term Thermal rating of an
R20 fiberglass batt at best is R12. This is because it will sag and gap
for a many reasons (gravity, house shifting, pulling wires through wall
space, vibrations in house, etc.) For every 1/8" gap you will lose 40
to 50% of the R-value. Spray foam insulation will never gap, sag or
crack, fiberglass insulation has no such guarantee.

Save Money and the Environment
With Spray Foam solution, we can insulate rim joists, bonus rooms, and attic
perimeters. For instance, on a 1600 square foot two story house,
Standard "batting" insulation for this house would cost about $5000,
the average investment for our solution is $16,000. The cost difference
being $11,000. With our system of insulation, it will normally
yield a 50% utility savings, this commonly results in about 10% of
return on your money... Try to get that on your investments!
Thermal Barrier Application

Ure-K
is a thermal barrier approved as a building interior insulation to
delay the ignition and reduce the surface burning rate of low melting,
combustible rigid spray-on polyurethane foam. Ure-K may be sprayed over
foam in existing building or it can be used as a protective coating
over foam in new construction projects as a combination system. Ure-K
as a thermal barrier meets the requirements of classification B when
tested in conformance with CAN4-S124-M, Standard Method of Test for the
Evaluation of Protective Coverings for Foamed Plastic.
HiBAR is a ULC listed, spray
applied semi cementitious mineral fibre insulation, for fire rating
structural steel. HiBARTM also has thermal and acoustical properties.
It can be spray applied over rigid structural substrates and exterior
or partition walls. It provides acoustical treatment for ceilings and
walls in noisy production areas or large rooms such as gymnasiums or
swimming pools where both sound absorption and aesthetic enhancement is
desired. Condensation control is also provided on exposed structural
components that are in contact with cold exterior surfaces.)
